Six Programs.
One Purpose.

Every program is designed around the same principle: meet people where they are, with real help, delivered with dignity and compassion.

Where We Show Up

Skylar's Hope For Change operates across six program areas, each addressing a critical gap between the help that exists and the people who need it most.

Mobile Dental & Medical Outreach

Donated mobile dental and medical buses bring professional-grade care directly to the people who need it most — in homeless encampments, safe zones, sober houses, halfway houses, and underserved neighborhoods across the Phoenix metro area.

This program removes the most common barrier to care: access. By bringing services to communities rather than expecting communities to navigate transportation, insurance, and scheduling, we meet people at the point of their greatest need.

We are actively seeking: Volunteer dentists, dental hygienists, doctors, nurse practitioners, and medical professionals who want to donate time. Equipment, supply donations, and funding for vehicle operation are also needed.

Addiction Recovery Support

Recovery is not a single event — it's a sustained process that requires resources, community, and support at every stage. Skylar's Hope connects individuals in active recovery with the practical tools they need to stay on track.

We partner with rehabilitation centers, outpatient programs, mental health providers, and counseling services to create warm referral pathways rather than dead ends. Our outreach reaches people in rehabs, recovery homes, and community safe zones.

We are actively seeking: Licensed addiction counselors, mental health professionals, and recovery coaches willing to partner with or volunteer their expertise.

Transitional & Sober Housing

Without stable housing, recovery is nearly impossible. This program works to expand access to sober living, halfway houses, three-quarter houses, safe houses, and transitional housing options for people moving out of addiction or homelessness.

We coordinate with existing sober housing networks, support new housing initiatives, and connect individuals to available placements. Long-term, the goal is to help fund and establish dedicated Skylar's Hope housing environments in Phoenix.

We are actively seeking: Property owners interested in partnering, housing administrators, funding for operational costs, and policy advocates.

Veteran & PTSD Support

Veterans who served this country often come home to a system ill-equipped to handle the weight of what they carry. PTSD, addiction, and homelessness intersect at high rates among veterans — and the standard safety net frequently fails them.

Skylar's Hope provides dedicated outreach to veterans experiencing homelessness, mental health crises, substance use disorders, and housing instability. We connect veterans to specialized resources, housing programs, and mental health support through partnerships with veteran-focused organizations.

We are actively seeking: Veteran service organizations, VA-affiliated volunteers, mental health specialists with veteran experience, and housing providers.

Homeless Outreach

Many of Phoenix's unsheltered residents have given up on systems that repeatedly failed them. Our homeless outreach meets people in encampments, safe zones, and public spaces — delivering supplies, care, and human connection without conditions.

Outreach includes distribution of hygiene items, food, clothing, harm reduction supplies, and information about available services. Equally important: treating every person with dignity and respect, restoring a sense of being seen.

We are actively seeking: Volunteers for outreach runs, supply donations, and partner organizations already operating in Phoenix encampments.

Community Partnerships

No single organization can solve addiction, homelessness, and mental health alone. Skylar's Hope For Change builds strategic partnerships with churches, local businesses, mental health and addiction providers, dental and medical professionals, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders across Phoenix.

These partnerships multiply impact: a dental professional who donates one Saturday per month serves dozens of people who would otherwise go years without care. A church that opens its hall creates a safe space. A business that sponsors a supply run gets supplies into hands that need them.

We are actively seeking: All types of community partners. If you have something to offer — time, space, expertise, or resources — we want to talk.

How We Show Up

Human-Centered

Every person we serve is treated with full dignity and respect — not as a case number, a statistic, or a problem to be managed.

Mobile & Direct

We go to people. Mobile outreach vehicles bring services to where people actually are — not where they're supposed to be.

Partnership-Driven

We don't try to do everything alone. We build networks of partners who together can do far more than any single organization could.

These Programs Need Your Support

Every program runs on donations, volunteer hours, professional partnerships, and community belief. Your support is what puts help on the road.
